🎹 Maurizio Nicolini – Artistic Biography

Nationality:Â Italian
Maurizio Nicolini, pianist, singer , and percussionist , was born in the coastal town of Varazze, Liguria. Raised in a classical music environment, he studied at the Conservatory of Genoa "Niccolò Paganini", specializing in piano and percussion instruments. He then continued his studies at the prestigious Conservatory of Versailles, Paris, refining his artistic skills.

Early Career
He began as a percussionist in prominent symphony orchestras and opera theaters, including:
• Sanremo Symphony Orchestra
• RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana Orchestra, Milan
• Teatro Carlo Felice Orchestra, Genoa
International Collaborations
He shared the stage and collaborated with world-famous artists:
Mstislav Rostropovich, Gerry Mulligan, Luciano Pavarotti, Krzysztof Penderecki,
Massimiliano Damerini, Salvatore Accardo
Light Music & Productions
Thanks to his collaboration with uncle Franco Delfino – composer of over 1000 Italian pop
songs he focused on international light and electronic music, collaborating with various
artists and producing several CDs
Exclusive Concerts
Participated for two consecutive years in private concerts at Castel Gandolfo for Pope John
Paul II
Experiences & Collaborations
Performed in prestigious venues:
Luxury hotels, restaurants, lounge bars, private events , theaters , oceanic
and river cruise ships
Collaborates regularly with high-level musicians and bands, adapting to different artistic
formats.
Current Activities
Currently living in Poland, he continues performing across Europe and beyond as pianist,
singer, and percussionist.
Also works as a teacher and sound engineer in his recording studio.
